calendar days for math

Hello World.  This is my first official post on my new blog site, so wish me luck and here goes!  Right now, in my third grade math class, we are working on learning money, time, and the calendar.  So I welcome any helpful comments or creations on those topics.  For tomorrow, I am going to be teaching the calendar so I am preparing a document to print off for student reference (to put in their binders) on the months of the year.  More specifically, how many days are in the months.  Of course, that takes me back to my own schooldays, when we learned the poem "Thirty days hath September...".  So, I will attempt to post my creation for all the world to see.  wish me luck there too.  I'll need it.  I'm not new to technology, in fact, one of my Master's Degrees is in Instructional Technology, so I am not afraid to try new things.  It is just that everything has to be new sometime, and that is where I am at with blogging.  Gotta start somewhere, right?

On another note, my class had PE today with a sub and came out of it with THREE broken new permanent front teeth.  The boys went home to get dentist appointments, and the sub then said, no more scooters for the rest of the time she was to be there.  Can't say I blame her!!!

ok, here it is, finally! 30 days poem
